Pre-move-in inspection checklist for UAE apartments & villas

A pre-move-in inspection is your last structured chance to catch defects before furniture arrives and soft periods close. Focus on wet areas (kitchens and bathrooms), AC performance, electrics, doors and windows, tiling and paint, and balcony waterproofing interfaces.

For villas and townhouses, add exterior paint or cladding where accessible, outdoor fixtures, and roof or terrace interfaces that often show incomplete work at handover.
